What Gautama Taught
By JoHannah P. Green
belief/disbelief
a coin tossed nearly
never lands on the edge.
You are still caught
-in the web/on the web
-on the cusp
-tied to the great wheel.
enslaved by your
belief/disbelief
waiting for some savior
to do
what only you,
BE-ing
can do.
He who strives for another
rung on the ladder/buzz of chi---
blast of light.
he who travels the path of Enlightenment
still travels
toward
something;
still believes it is not here.
Gautma finally sat down under the Bodhi Tree.
Stop running.
Just
stop.
